Only a traveller from other worlds knows the fate of mankind. He takes us, as if on a journey, through evidence of man’s passage on Earth: ruins of the past and contemporary dimensions, distant glories and technological actualities, space flights, lost beauties, ancient and present faces follow one another symphonically in the alternation of documentary images, archive materials, period photographs. And while men’s dreams are altered, various stories intertwine, united in the wait for a destiny that may yet be changed.
