Switzerland and immigration.
Ikendu, a Malian refugee who arrived in Switzerland after passing through Libya and Italy, meets Patricia in Bellinzona, a woman who works in a bicycle workshop and is the single mother of two daughters. The two soon become a couple, marry and spend a carefree time together. One day, however, Ikendu is arrested: he is accused by some Africans of being a drug dealer. The event inevitably affects the relationship between Ikendu and Patricia, bringing to light things neither of them knew about the other.
