We use cookies to ensure the proper functioning of our site, personalise content, provide a good browsing experience and analyse traffic on our site.
This document provides detailed information on the use of cookies and their types, how they are used on our site and how they are managed.

This website may contain links to other websites which have their own privacy policies and use of cookies, and which may differ from the policies adopted by this website.

Cookies on the site are disabled until you accept them.

1. What are cookies?
Cookies are computer files or partial data that are stored on your computer (or other browsing-enabled devices such as smartphones and tablets) when you visit a site. Usually a cookie contains the name of the site it comes from, the ‘duration’ (how long it is stored on the device), and a value which is usually a randomly generated unique number.

There are different types of cookies:

1.1 Technical cookies
These cookies are essential for the correct use of the website, allowing people to navigate the pages and have benefits while browsing, such as remembering previous actions when revisiting the page in the same session, or remembering a login performed (Remember me on this site) or storing the steps of a purchase.
They can be either Temporary or Sessional (they are deleted once the browser is closed) or Persistent (they are not deleted when closing the browser but have a preset expiry date).

1.2 Third party and service analytics cookies
These cookies help us to understand how users interact with our site and to extend the functionality of the site by offering a number of services, providing information about the pages visited, the time spent on each page and any problems that may arise, for example an error message. This helps us to improve the performance of the website.

For information on the use of data and its processing by Google, we recommend that you read Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/technologies/cookies
And also the page on how Google uses data when using partner sites or apps: https://policies.google.com/privacy/partners?hl=it

We use Google Analytics to track website activity, compile reports on website activity and user behaviour, see how often users visit the site, how the site is tracked and which pages are visited most frequently. The information is combined in order to create a comparative picture of the use of the site in relation to other sites in the same category. The data collected does not allow personal identification of users, and is not cross-referenced with other information about the same person. IPs are processed in aggregate form and anonymised (truncated to the last octet). Google Inc. is forbidden to cross-reference this data with other services on the basis of an agreement.

We use Google Maps, a Google service that provides street maps and location tracking for urban businesses. We set cookies on map pages to store e.g. selected zoom level, map view preferences, number and behaviour of users.

We use Google Fonts, a font style display service that allows you to integrate such content within your pages on this site. Google Fonts only collects aggregate, non-cross-referenced data with other Google services in order to compile statistical reports on font usage.

We use YouTube for video playback. The cookies are set when accessing the pages containing the embed and when starting the video, and do not allow the User to be identified unless he/she is already logged into the Google profile, in which case the User has already given his/her consent directly to Google.

We use AddThis to provide social sharing services (Social Sharer).
Cookies are deposited at the appearance of the plugin and used by AddThis to also provide information on the number of visitors. This information is only ever used in aggregate form, and therefore individual user identification is not possible.

We may use a MailChimp plugin to collect email addresses to which we can then send promotional content, always with the user’s explicit consent.
MailChimp uses web beacons to detect when a message is opened, clicks on hyperlinks within the email, from which IP address or browser type the email is opened, and other similar details.

We use social plugins and/or social networking buttons to enable easy sharing of content on your favourite social networks. When you visit a page on our website that contains a Facebook plugin, your browser connects directly to the servers of the social network from where the plugin is loaded, which server can track your visit to our website and, if appropriate, associate it with your social network account, in particular if you are logged in at the time of your visit or if you have recently browsed one of the websites containing social plugins. If you do not wish the social network to record data relating to your visit to our website, you must log out of your social network account and, probably, delete the cookies that the social network has installed in your browser.

Plugins with advanced privacy protection functions are installed on this site, which do not send cookies or access the cookies on your browser when you open the page but only after you click on the plugin.

The collection and use of information by these third parties is governed by their respective privacy policies to which please refer and which we have provided the link for some of them.

1.3 Integration and functionality cookies
These cookies allow our websites to remember choices you make (e.g. your username, the language you choose or the region you are in, any products you put in your shopping cart) to provide you with a more personalised online experience. They can also allow users to interact with social tools such as social networks, blogs, chatrooms and forums.
They are used in the case of e-commerce to store user credentials, choices made and products in the shopping cart, but also for social sharing or integration of services provided by third parties.
The information that is collected by these cookies may include personally identifiable information that you have provided, for example your username or profile picture. We will always be transparent with you about what information we collect, how we use it and with whom we share it.
If you do not accept these cookies, the performance and functionality of the website may be impacted and access to content on the website may be restricted.

This website uses the popular CMS WordPress, which uses cookies to save data related to user customisation, to remember if the user is logged in or not, in case of e-commerce purchase procedures (where applicable), in general cases of storing information previously entered by the logged in user. These cookies are necessary for the proper functioning of the software.

1.4 Advertising and profiling cookies
These cookies are used to create a profile of the user and present content that best suits their interests. They can be used to display advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user.

2. What do we use cookies for?
We use cookies to make browsing faster and more tailored to your interests. Cookies are also used to speed up future user experiences and activities on our site. We use Google Analytics to compile anonymous statistics in aggregate form that allow us to learn how people use our site and thus improve the structure and context.
Through this collected information we cannot personally identify the visitor.

Our site DOES NOT USE PROFILING/PUBLICITY COOKIES

3. Consent/Revocation to the use of cookies
Cookies are disabled until the acceptance of the same through explicit ACCEPTANCE using the ACCEPT button on the notification banner present at the first access to the site.
By doing so, the visitor expressly consents to the use of cookies and similar technologies, and in particular to the registration of these cookies on his terminal equipment for the purposes indicated above, or to access through cookies to information on his terminal equipment.

Once consent has been given, he/she can consult the list of cookies in the section below of this document and always revoke a consent already given by clicking on the appropriate button.

The visitor can also choose to REFUSE the use of cookies by using the appropriate button in the notification banner.

Since cookies are in any case linked to the browser used, THEY CAN BE DISABLED DIRECTLY FROM THE BROWSER, thus refusing/revoking consent to the use of cookies.

DISABLING COOKIES MAY PREVENT THE CORRECT USE OF CERTAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE SITE ITSELF, in particular services provided by third parties may not be accessible, and therefore may not be viewable.

With regard to rejected technical cookies, it may be impossible, for example, to log in to the reserved area or to make a purchase, while the services provided by third parties that may not be accessible are, for example, youtube videos or other video sharing services, social network buttons (like, share, etc.), Google Maps, payment services and transactions.

Stored Cookies
In compliance with the new European Data Protection Regulation (GDPR 16/679) in force since 25 May 2018, in this section you can consult any cookies stored while browsing the site.

If you have chosen NOT to ACCEPT the use of cookies on our site, the table below will be empty. If, on the other hand, you have chosen to ACCEPT the use of cookies, you will be able to see the list of cookies and choose at any time to revoke your acceptance of them.

We use some technical cookies which are indispensable for the functioning of the site. In case of non-acceptance some pages or scripts may not function properly.
